OATIS, PARTNER
Theodore A. Oatis, co-founder of The Chiofaro Company, oversees all aspects of the Company's development and construction projects. The development projects of The Chiofaro Company include International Place, a 1.8 million square foot office complex in Boston's financial district, Nashoba Corporate Center, a 460,000 square foot campus in Westford Massachusetts and Westborough Technology Park, a 74-acre office/research and development park in Westborough Massachusetts.
Mr. Oatis is active in the development of the Central Artery serving on the Executive Committee and as Chairman of the Construction Mitigation Committee with the Artery Business Committee. He is on the board of the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps., Inc., and serves in numerous professional organizations.
Ted began his real estate career in 1974 at Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, a national real estate company based in Boston. His experience includes industrial and office development in rural, suburban, and downtown locations.
Mr. Oatis was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and currently resides in Charlestown, Massachusetts, and is the father of three children. He is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School.
